Win It Wednesday: Birth Announcement Photo Name Frame
Tagged in: photography, keepsake, giveaway, decor | CommentsI absolutely love the idea of these photo name frames. Each letter is a photograph of a different architectural or design element. It's a stylish and subtle way to display a name (first or last) as well as a modern alternative to wooden letters.
So I'm quiet excited (OK envious too) to launch today's Win It Wednesday Giveaway from Element 120 Designs. They are giving one of my fabulous readers (that's you) a Birth Announcement Photography Name Frame (up to 8 letters). Valued at $94.99.

Posh Party: Sophie The Giraffe's 50th @ Petit Tresor
Tagged in: toys, party, cupcakes | Comments
The first time I saw Sophie The Giraffe it was, and still is, topping the baby bestsellers list on Amazon. I was amazed that this little toy was so popular and that I hadn't seen it before. Shortly after this I realized I was seeing Sophie everywhere and actually had been for quite a while!

Precious Moments Should Be Set In Stone...
Tagged in: review, keepsake | CommentsOr even better...imprinted on a beautiful sand casted Fleur-de-lis & Scroll tile and adorning your nursery like this one from Sadie Ryan.
I've saved all my birth announcements (one of my favorite things to order after the baby is born) by gluing them into the baby book. But since the baby books are often scavenged by eager little hands, it's not the safest form of a keepsake in my house.

Spotted: Glenna Jean Crib & Kids Bedding
Tagged in: spotted it, crib bedding | Comments
While ooing over a giant diaper pin hanger I spotted recently (a perfect decorative and functional wall rack for a for a nursery) I happily also discovered nursery bedding designer, Glenna Jean. Although I just recently spotted them, they're far from newbies to nursery bedding and currently celebrating their 33rd year in business.
Something that I thought was special about Glenna Jean is how many accessories are available! It makes it almost mindless to put together the entire nursery in addition to a stunning crib.

Chic Security: Ila Dusk & Pebble Alarms {Win It!}
Tagged in: safety, review, giveaway | Comments
I have always been a little on the skittish side when it comes to looking out for creepy crawlies. Well, actually flat out paranoid. But I'm not talking about bugs. I'm talking about the creeps that jump out of the shadows and throw you into their van. Sorry, that's the mother in me being overly dramatic.
In my early 20's I was accosted in an empty parking lot at 6:30 in the morning. I had just hit the unlock button on my car key when I noticed a man had followed me out of the store and was headed straight for me. I was very lucky and was able to push him away and hit the panic button on my key.

Big Bouffant Is Big Fun
Tagged in: review, books | Comments
You wouldn't think a book about a sassy girl and her hair would fall into the adventure genre but to many young girls, finding the perfect do is one of the biggest adventures of them all. As a girl who grew up in the era of perms and big fluffy bangs, I certainly remember how important hair was and the hours I would spend every morning getting it right.

Handmade Chic: Crochet Beanies With A Touch Of Flower Power
Tagged in: it's rad, hats | CommentsIt's no secret I have a serious Etsy addiction lately in addition to a new baby. Which works well since my baby has some hair issues (what newborn doesn't) and I know Etsy is a great place to find some amazing hats for little Hadley. One of my latest purchases is from JeabMade and I'm dying! I've gotten so many compliments about this adorable crochet beanie so in addition to another beanie for Hadley in the next size up, I also got two more for my 4 and 5 year old girls so they can all match. I'm a slave to coordination!
