Be Sure To Wear Some Flowers In Your Hair

Woobie Wear Baby Hat

"Oh, what a cute little boy." Yeah, crazy lady at the grocery store... this is my BOY!!! Can't you see the pink shopping cart cover and the pink dress that my "boy" is wearing? Come on moms... You know it get you all riled up. Parents just cringe when someone makes this very innocent mistake but at the same time, we get as equally freaked out when someone is obsessively staring at our babies (possibly trying to figure out if it's a boy or girl).

Vintage Baby Clothes: Sail Away & Back In Time

Vintage Baby Clothes @ Belle Heir {via Posh*Little}

It's amazing browsing old black and white photos from the early 1900's. You get the feeling that you are glimpsing into a whole other world and yet can somehow feel a sense of familiarity and connection to the stoic faces [not normally] smiling back at you. The clothing of the children reflect such a timeless sincerity. That in the best of times and the worst of times, we want to capture a sense of pride and the uniquely human reaction of putting on a brave face.

This is a wonderful idea for modern nursery decor. It's a two pieced family tree wall print. The front sheet is adorned with a cute black tree decorated with colored photo frames and matching flag banners. The under sheet/back has photo guide lines to help you align your photos just right that peek through on the tree sheet.

What's Better Than A Baby Sling? A Double Baby Sling!

Baby K'tan - no snaps or wrapping needed baby sling

I carry my babies everywhere. It all started with my first child who wouldn't ever let me put him down. Now with my 4th baby, I don't really have room in the car for a stroller so it's not really a choice to stroll or not to stroll. So of course I am HUGE fan of baby carriers and I wear my baby all the time. She is, after all, my favorite accessory.

Street Sign Decor- Traffic Themed Wall Hooks & Drawer Pulls

Pakhuis Oost traffic sign wall hooks & drawer pulls via Posh*Little

Total Home Makeover- Read, Renew & Attack!

Total Home Makeover by Renee Metzler

I feel like I've been chasing my own tail lately trying to stay on top of everything. Laundry, carpool, meals, bedtime, paper work, homework, etc.. for 6 people and two dogs. Not to mention hubby having several trips out of town so getting double duty. I've been in desperate need of a home management class to get in front of the chaos vs. trying to keep up with it.

Wild Things Funky Little Dresses

Wild Things Funky Little Dresses

I can't pinpoint what I am obsessed with the most: the doll, the toadstool, the dress or the red riding hood cape. Is there a Buy It All Button here? I think this photo from Wild Things Funky Little Dresses sums up my odd obsession with toadstools, me having 3 girls and my love of handmade items perfectly. And the toadstool thing makes perfect sense (if you are judging me) since I am in my 30's which means I was raised on Mario where toadstools represent extra life's and well red and white mushrooms are just kind of stylish. But, this post is about a dress with trees and bears. Focus.

Porcelain Typography Trays

Porcelain Typography Trays

Typography has been huge in web & graphic design over the last year or so. I've always been a fan of using unique and distinct fonts as design elements so it's a trend I have been embracing not only as a boutique web designer but also as a decorator. These porcelain typography trays initially caught my attention as something for myself (my desk, kitchen, laundry room, etc) until I saw the G tray and thought of how cute that would be on my daughter Greenley's dresser.

Pop Up Placemats {w/stickers}

pop-up-placemats.jpg

Any parent knows that pop ups are a great way to keep a child's attention. I think that's why I am extra smitten with these adorable and playful pop up placemats from hello hanna. While my two year old would most likely just rip hers to shreds, my older kids would absolutely love this over a restaurant menu any day (they've got an activity area on the flip side).

Talk Bubble Lunch Box Notes

The Stationery Boutique Talk Bubble Lunch Box Notes

Today is the first day back to school for my 3 older posh*little ones. It's a bitter sweet day having lost my little helpers but my 2 year old and I are enjoying the lack of bickering and quiet. Of course all things back to school are on my radar and since lunch boxes were a hot topic this morning, these adorable Talk Bubble Lunch Box Notes by The Stationery Boutique were the first thing that caught my eye this morning.

Pop and Lolli

Wall Decals from Pop & Lolli

I'm packing the family up this morning for one last hurrah before back to school at our favorite vacation spot in Oregon, Sunriver. But of course I am getting gloriously sidetracked with these huge and adorable (and have absolutely nothing to do with packing) wall decals from Pop & Lolli. I knew I shouldn't of stopped to check my emails this morning and just kept trekking.

Mustache No-Pan Pancakes

mustach_pancakes2.jpg

Today, 2 of my posh*little kids are sick and two are starving. So I broke out my juicer and my giant bag of Costco pancake mix to tackle the morning. Thanks to a 5 am wake up call from sicky daughter #3 and my 2 year old/rooster shortly after, my morning started very early. Nothing a little Diet Rockstar can't fix though.
