How To Curl Your Hair With Out A Curling Iron

How To Curl Your Hair With Out A Curling Iron

We have a lot of hair to curl with 4 girls. A LOT! I was desperate for a way for my girls to curl their own hair. We have a few overnight roller options but they are too curly for my daughter Audrey who has shorter fine hair. She isn't good at using a curling iron yet even though she loves the look and the process. I think it's the control freak in her wanting to do curls one by one.

I've seen automatic curlers and have wanted to try them for a while. I admit, I thought they looked kind of scary. I was worried my girls or my own hair would get sucked up and caught but I am pleasantly surprised at the beautiful curl and gentleness that the CHB Pro Perfect Curler. No getting hair pulled or stuck. So far so good!

I got this one from Gearbest. I did have to buy a plug adapter (which was under $4) but their prices are so good it was still a better deal then any where else I saw for this model. Even Amazon!

Before: She has varying waves in the back of her hair naturally that go every which way. It's a mess!

It works so well! And it's fast. Audrey wanted loose curls or "beachy waves" so she had it on the shortest timed setting of the 3. The timer feature is great. Place your chunk of hair in, clasp it together and it will beep fast at you when it's done. It pulls hair in gently and releases easily. This one also has a direction option. Right, left or rotating. I didn't think we'd care about that but we did. She wanted her curls all facing the back of her head.

I wouldn't let my 5 year old use this but I think for my tween girls (and me), it's a great alternative to curling irons. The heat is inside the unit where there hands aren't getting burnt. It's faster than a traditional curling iron too. She did half her head in about 3 minutes. If mommy wasn't making her stop to pose, she may have gone faster!

You can get steam curler version I got from Gearbest for $45.89 with free shipping here. The travel plug converter I got was $3.86 as an Amazon add on item found here.
