I just had a baby! OK, well I didn't technically have a baby but I'm a new Aunt so I embracing the new baby atmosphere just the same. The 8 oz Borosilicate Glass Bottle is lighter than I expected (never having held a glass baby bottle before). It has a very solid and sturdy feel that was still very comfortable when feeding the baby. What's up with borosilicate glass? Laboratories use this same kind of glass as well as the thermal insulation tiles in space shuttles (coated with borosilicate glass) due to it's superior strength, durability and ability to resist thermal shock.
