Unless you have bought toddler sized furniture for the house and remodeled your bathrooms to accommodate your child, most likely your kid needs a little help reaching those slightly out of reach places. Give your child a step in style with these fabu tutu foot stools from Your Couture Kid! I am having a terribly hard time checking it out for myself because my testers keep taking it away to the other room. That is a very good sign of approval and means that they are going crazy over it!Â
This made-to-order, tutu themed, padded footstool serves two functions: One, the obvious... gives kids a little extra boost to get to the sink, reach the top drawers and so on. Two, with the super fun tulle tutu, padded shoes and painted accents, it is a very unique & super girly piece of room decor. The hand painted legs have tiny little high-heeled shoes that are so giggly cute. This is a very fun and unique item. I think.. it just got stolen again. Find it @ YourCoutreKid.Com and members can see the sneaky testers in action here.

It is a special moment when you can let your child have something grown up. Something that says, "I'm Not A Baby Anymore" and "Mommy, I am just like you!" Especially when it is something familiar. Something maybe glued to your hand like your travel coffee mug!?! They feel, and, you appreciate a special kinship. And most of all, many important items in their world (car seats, strollers, cars, etc) has a special circular space dedicated to it so it must be worth while.
On a recent shopping binge, my 3 Posh Littles' dragged me over to a 4 pack box of what I thought were sippy cups. I am very particular about my sippy cups so I checked them out mostly to appease every "mommy look" that was echoing. Then the modern and sleek styling of these "sippy cups" intrigued me long enough to realize that these are actually not really sippy cups. They are really valve free (something very important to me) "next step" travel mugs for kids. These are very similar to grown up travel mugs in that they let liquid freely flow, but there is one key difference. On these, you actually have to press a button to open the drinking spout. The child controls when liquid comes out with the press of a button. Sooo 2008!
Enter, Contigo. The Contigo Autoseal Kids Travel Mug is a modern, BPA free, styled travel mug made especially for post sippy cup/still prone to spilling kid. If you can't snag a set at your local Costco, you can order them online @ Amazon.Com

Being a mother of a 3 year old who's love of Barbie, tutus & all things princessy recently blossomed, having a positive and classic activity such as ballet is the perfect way to foster an interest not only "of all things fluffy and pink" but in the arts. Mary Kate Mellow and Stephanie Treoller, both stay at home moms, created Prima Princessa... a fabulous 40 min video that enchantingly guides a gaggle off adorable tutu-clad little girls to see the Paris Opera perform select parts of Swan Lake. "We were both inspired by our children's love of dance as well as a desire to see higher quality, culturally enriching programming available for young children," says Mary Kate.
Prima Princessa, an animated fairy ballerina, joyfully breaks in between acts to teach simple ballet steps with a vibrant mosaic of toys, animals, children and young dancers from the School of American Ballet. You'll find yourself in front of the TV twirling and pirouetting with the bobbling toys and your giggling daughter! Great for little girls just about ready for ballet lessons, like my daughter, who knows how to wear a tutu but doesn't really know what it is for! Find it @ PrimaPrincessa.Com

It wasn't until my second baby that I realized how much better a swaddled baby sleeps. There is a reason the hospital nurses do it and that it is an actual hands on part of new parent classes! Your cozied baby will feel all warm and secure just like they did in your belly!
The SwaddleMe Bamboo by Kiddopotamus is a silky soft swaddling blanket that makes it easy to wrap up you new baby. This eco-friendly infant tool is specially shaped with wing like sides and a leg pouch that wraps and stay put with self fasteners. Makes all the wrapping, unwrapping and tucking a smoother event! Even better, the leg pouch allows for easy diaper changes. And why bamboo? Bamboo is an eco-friendly, renewable and biodegradable resource grown without pesticides. Find them @ Kiddopotamus.Com

Nature is still growing strong in modern design and especially in many children's decor and accessory lines. Maybe minus the macramé owl hanging at grandmas that your mother insists was the hippest thing in her day, branches birds and owls are an icon of modern design. The simple, friendly and natural aspects of these trends are embodied in today's eco-friendly "Go Green" movement.
And here we go, modern organizing again! Capturing modern design, eco-friendly materials, fun and clean up all in one. The Noah Owl Box, made by Kiersten, a very talented mother of 2 of ModMomFurnture.Com, is a eco-friendly birch plywood "woodland mod" children's toy box. The lid is actually the owl shape, which can be removed easily with the aid of they owl's eyes/finger holes. The modern design will fit fantastically into any kids modern playroom or nursery! Find it @ Etsy.Com
