The iPad 3 is here! What's Yours Wearing? {iPad & iPad 2's welcome}
Tagged in: roundup, modern, iPad, gadgets, accessories | Comments
In honor of the release of the iPad 3, we've rounded up some unique & hip iPad covers* and cases fit for kids & stylish moms. What sets these cool cases apart from the rest is that not only will the covers help protect iPads from our maple syrup covered kids, they will make even the 1st & 2nd generation iPads the coolest kid on the block.
*Since the iPad 3 is so new, many of these cases were made for 1st or 2nd generation iPads but were cool enough to make the list. Me, I'm perfectly happy with my iPad 2 but since now it isn't the latest or greatest thing, it's time to beef up its style factor to compensate ;-)

It's Still Hat Season! Going Nuts For Etsy's KnitNut By JL
Tagged in: monkeys, hats, handmade, etsy, accessories | CommentsCrochet hats were a huge obsession for me this fall. Especially super funky ones like sock monkeys, owls, flying pigs and angry birds.
With all our trips back and forth to our seemingly miles away bus stop and the myriad of events were baby sister had to tag along, quickly throwing on one of her hats kept Hadley warm and cozy plus the center of attention. We never left the house with out one of Hadley's signature hats!

Leg Warmers Are So 3 Decades Ago
Tagged in: girly girl, accessories | CommentsA couple years ago, whenever we'd try to dress our daughter up a little girly, with what little vocab & body language she had, she'd shut us down. She'd reply with her arms bulging out in a rowing motion similar to someone showing how their belly growing, "I don't want to be like this." It took us a while but we figured out that like this meant wearing puffy or filly clothes. Yikes, I had a tomboy. Nothing a little ballet lesson or two couldn't cure.
Around the time she turned 4 (gasp, finally), she started to enjoy some of the more girlie things in life and not just rolling in the mud or doing whatever her big brother was doing. Those ballet lessons paid off. Now with three little girls we are drowning in pink ruffles and lace.

Does Your Baby Lick The Handles Of Shopping Cart & High Chairs?
Tagged in: travel, roundup, review, feeding, etsy, accessories | CommentsMine does. It's very peculiar behavior but I guess it's something that baby's do. Licking handles. It's so odd. Funny thing is... I didn't have a problem with my first three kids gnawing on shopping carts. Maybe I carried or wore them more when I went shopping because it wasn't until recently, with baby #4, that I needed a shopping cart cover. Of course, it had to be modern, hip and not something that Grandma knitted or whipped up with leftover fabric scraps (she likes to do that).
I picked up, for a steal, the Numbers Cloud Cover (top photo above) by Infantino on Zulily a while back ($29.98 @ Amazon) and it's been great. It's puffy, cozy and covers everywhere Hadley could reach. Doubling as a high chair cover is also very cool. Yes my baby licks high chairs too. Good golly, doesn't she watch the news and reports on high chair germs? Yuck.

So much so that I ordered an extra Petunia Pickle Bottom Diaper Bag for a very lucky Posh*Little Blog reader in an upcoming giveaway (stay tuned in the upcoming weeks for details or sign up for blog alerts via email).
It's been my diaper bag brand for 2 of my 4 babies. First I had a Boxy Backpack and now I'm sporting the Petunia Pickle Bottom Cake Society Satchel. They're gorgeous diaper bags and are pretty much guaranteed to get compliments on every outing.

BundleMe! Coats & Blankets Need Not Apply
Tagged in: review, it's rad, gear, accessories | Comments
I subscribe the theory that with each child, you kind of get a do-over. You get to start fresh and do things a little differently than you did last time around. That goes for clothes, gear, schedules, etc.
With all my kids, one of my least favorite things to do is get them in and out of their infant car seats. But I can't not use one so I am really glad I discovered the Bundle Me. It's like a sleeping bag you attach to your car seat or stroller and it makes it so easy to get baby out of the house. No need for a coat or blanket! That's a really big deal for me now that I have 4 kids. Even the smallest of trips is a giant chore so things need to be easy breezy.

In Case Your Orbit G2 Baby Stroller Doesn't Hold Everyone
Tagged in: gear, accessories | Comments
I need start taking notes when my 7 year old son tells me about his ideas and inventions. He may be on to something. A few months ago, while hanging on to the shopping cart at the grocery store, he told how cool it would be if he had a skateboard he could attach to the cart. I said Yeah, totally and kept shopping. So of course I was floored when I saw this skateboard attachment for a stroller! It's the Sidekick Stroller Board made for the Orbit Stroller G2.

Spruce Up That Hand Me Down Car Seat
Tagged in: travel, roundup, gear, accessories | CommentsWho says beggars can't be choosers? Just because you are using borrowed, the wrong color or hand-me-down baby gear doesn't mean you can't express your own style or change up the color scheme. With infant car seats ranging anywhere from $60 - $250+, if don't have to buy one but need a change, that's your budget for a new infant car seat cover! (Yes, I can justify any purchase).
Pictured above: Baby Bella Maya Infant Car Seat Covers - compatible with most major brands of car seats, including: Graco Snugride, Peg Perego and similar infant car seats ($60 - $80).

More Stroller Storage With Out Getting A New Stroller
Tagged in: organization, gear, accessories | CommentsIt's almost kind of humorous how we are constantly challenging our strollers to see how much extra stuff they can handle. Cup holders, cell phone holders, extra seats or stands for more kids and so on. Like tricking out a car or beefing up a stereo system. Even if we bought it with all the bells and whistles, once you use it a little... we always find room for improvement.
And that's OK! We need the extra storage, the extra hands and it's practical to get as much use out of our gear as possible, right? Not having to carry anything while pushing a stroller is not only safer but makes the stroll more enjoyable with our little ones.

Who's A Messy Little Man?
Tagged in: feeding, etsy, clothes, boys, accessories | CommentsThe other day my son asked me if he could get an outfit like daddy. He was referring to the suit and tie hubby was sporting for work. This was coming from a kid who who would go to school with out pants if I would let him. I was floored!
This got me hunting for neck ties for kids and stumbled upon these adorable necktie bibs from LuBirdBaby on Etsy. The name was very familiar and turns out I had just bought some hip little burp rags from LuBirdBaby which are absolutely adorable. So it was no surprise to see whey these caught my eye. I was of course totally distracted from my hunt for necktie items for a 7 year old, but distraction is the glory of Etsy!
