The iPad 3 is here! What's Yours Wearing? {iPad & iPad 2's welcome}
Tagged in: roundup, modern, iPad, gadgets, accessories | Comments
In honor of the release of the iPad 3, we've rounded up some unique & hip iPad covers* and cases fit for kids & stylish moms. What sets these cool cases apart from the rest is that not only will the covers help protect iPads from our maple syrup covered kids, they will make even the 1st & 2nd generation iPads the coolest kid on the block.
*Since the iPad 3 is so new, many of these cases were made for 1st or 2nd generation iPads but were cool enough to make the list. Me, I'm perfectly happy with my iPad 2 but since now it isn't the latest or greatest thing, it's time to beef up its style factor to compensate ;-)

FunBites: Toddler & Kid Finger Food Fun
Tagged in: review, kitchen, gadgets, feeding, edibles | Comments
I feel like Cher. No, not turning back time in front of the Navy Cher. The Cher from the movie Mermaids where the only thing she makes is finger food and everything's been cut into bite size pieces.
We've been playing with FunBites and now, when ever I offer the family food, every item starts with the word bite sized. I've created little hors d'oeurve monsters but it's fun (see us in action) and I've been able to get them to try some new things. The kids usually take me up on my FunBites offer. My husband, not so much.

Tagged in: iPhone, gadgets, diaper bags, deals, accessories | CommentsI have a huge crush on Petunia Pickle Bottom. So much so that I ordered an extra Petunia Pickle Bottom Diaper Bag for a very lucky Posh*Little Blog reader in an upcoming giveaway (stay tuned in the upcoming weeks for details or sign up for blog alerts via email).
It's been my diaper bag brand for 2 of my 4 babies. First I had a Boxy Backpack and now I'm sporting the Petunia Pickle Bottom Cake Society Satchel. They're gorgeous diaper bags and are pretty much guaranteed to get compliments on every outing.

Funky Find: Greenman Solar Lamp
Tagged in: gadgets, funky find, decor | CommentsThere is one good thing about a cord. It will keep certain items in place. Unlike my cell and cordless phones, I will always know where my corded (yes they still exist) landline phone is. But letting go a little control in return for saving on energy costs as well as using an eco-friendly product is well worth it.
The Greenman lamp, which is made from eco-friendly bio-plastic corn and trimmed off with bamboo, is a fun and modern looking lamp that's cordless. It's solar powered so you power the lamp by flipping it over during the day. This has been a very tricky item to chase down a place to buy it. While I couldn't find a US distributor, I did find one that ships internationally. $54 (approx) @ MadeInDesign.Co.Uk

FunkyFonic: Retro Earcup Headphones
Tagged in: iPhone, iPad, gifts for kids, gadgets, funky find | Comments
Headphones for kids! It's funny how even with simpler and sleeker options, we return to what's comfortable for us from our youth. While modern earbuds are great for jogging and being a little more discreet, smaller ears may not find them as accessible or comfortable.

Mommy's Got Night Vision {Win It!}
Tagged in: safety, review, giveaway, gadgets | CommentsA baby monitor is one of the most important, if not the most important, tech tool you'll get when you have a baby. You'll want to keep tabs on your babies crying, movement and even breathing when you're away from them. What better way than with a portable color video monitor that's about the size of a cell phone.
The Summer Infants Slim & Secure Handheld Color Video Monitor is a fantastic baby monitor and we're so excited that Summer Infant is offering up one for a lucky reader. This video baby monitor lets you move around the house (yard too) and still keep a watchful eye and attentive ear on your baby. The monitor has a 10 hour battery, 350 foot range and whopping total of 6 buttons so there isn't anything complicated you have to do to get going. Plug it in, turn it on and enjoy the movie. In addition to video, there is sound as well as an audio light bar that fills up depending on how loud the sounds are (similar to many audio only monitors). The sound and video quality are great and the monitor range is amazing. I've walked to the bus stop and back (about 4 houses away) and still picked up a signal.
