Ubbi: A Sleek, Stylish & Modern Diaper Pail
Tagged in: nursery, modern, gear | Comments
Finally a modern diaper pail that will actually look good in your nursery! The Ubbi Diaper Pail not only has a sleek design and a wide variety of colors, it's made of steel so it won't absorb any smells like plastic pails can.
And if buying special liners is not something you are looking forward to, the Ubbi can use normal kitchen garbage bags or a reusable cloth liner. That can be a big $$ saver plus it's just easier to re-use or be able to use what you already have.

Oh No It Didn't: Oh Yeah, This Bottle Warms Itself
Tagged in: review, gear, feeding, bottles | CommentsI've never had a bottle warmer or any sort of on-the-go system to warm up bottles. Since I have mainly nursed, I've made due with out one. A cool nursing cover was all I needed!
My latest baby, however, has made things a little harder since she refuses to breastfeed if there's anything going on around her. She fights her way out from under the nursing cover and cries reminding me that no one puts baby under the nursing cover. Nursing isn't usually an option in public unless I leave the room or go sit in the car.

We've Got Big Love For The Tinylove Gymini® Move & Play
Tagged in: tummy time, toys, review, gear | Comments
Ah, floor time! Not only is it Uber important for baby's development, it gives mommy's arms a nice break. While my on-the-verge-of-walking 9 month old is now too mobile for our Tinylove Gymini® Move & Play, I will always remember our good times {insert bittersweet wave goodbye here} fondly. I had a hard time getting her out of my tired arms for tummy time when she was really little so this super playful mat was a godsend and grabbed her attention fast.

You know how babies like to throw things on the floor? Or you just want to keep a favorite toy close to baby? I've discovered a wonderful tool that keeps your baby's toy off the ground and always with in their reach... regardless of where they are!
It's called the BabyGiraffe. It's a super handy clip/arm thingamajig that goes wherever baby does and can hold a toy or one of the BabyGiraffe accessories (mirror or bottle holder). The clip part of it is very strong and it's all covered with a washable, very soft and chic looking giraffe fabric.

My diaper bag has 3 kinds of baby wipes. We've got normal baby wipes for diaper changing, Boogie Wipes for runny noses and Dapple Wipes for cleaning her toys and little spaces around her.
Travel Dapple Wipes are a handy on the go cleansing wipe containing Phthalate-free, paraben-free, SLES- & dye-free wipes for toys, highchairs or anything that you know your baby will be grabbing for.

BundleMe! Coats & Blankets Need Not Apply
Tagged in: review, it's rad, gear, accessories | Comments
I subscribe the theory that with each child, you kind of get a do-over. You get to start fresh and do things a little differently than you did last time around. That goes for clothes, gear, schedules, etc.
With all my kids, one of my least favorite things to do is get them in and out of their infant car seats. But I can't not use one so I am really glad I discovered the Bundle Me. It's like a sleeping bag you attach to your car seat or stroller and it makes it so easy to get baby out of the house. No need for a coat or blanket! That's a really big deal for me now that I have 4 kids. Even the smallest of trips is a giant chore so things need to be easy breezy.

In Case Your Orbit G2 Baby Stroller Doesn't Hold Everyone
Tagged in: gear, accessories | Comments
I need start taking notes when my 7 year old son tells me about his ideas and inventions. He may be on to something. A few months ago, while hanging on to the shopping cart at the grocery store, he told how cool it would be if he had a skateboard he could attach to the cart. I said Yeah, totally and kept shopping. So of course I was floored when I saw this skateboard attachment for a stroller! It's the Sidekick Stroller Board made for the Orbit Stroller G2.

Spruce Up That Hand Me Down Car Seat
Tagged in: travel, roundup, gear, accessories | CommentsWho says beggars can't be choosers? Just because you are using borrowed, the wrong color or hand-me-down baby gear doesn't mean you can't express your own style or change up the color scheme. With infant car seats ranging anywhere from $60 - $250+, if don't have to buy one but need a change, that's your budget for a new infant car seat cover! (Yes, I can justify any purchase).
Pictured above: Baby Bella Maya Infant Car Seat Covers - compatible with most major brands of car seats, including: Graco Snugride, Peg Perego and similar infant car seats ($60 - $80).

More Stroller Storage With Out Getting A New Stroller
Tagged in: organization, gear, accessories | CommentsIt's almost kind of humorous how we are constantly challenging our strollers to see how much extra stuff they can handle. Cup holders, cell phone holders, extra seats or stands for more kids and so on. Like tricking out a car or beefing up a stereo system. Even if we bought it with all the bells and whistles, once you use it a little... we always find room for improvement.
And that's OK! We need the extra storage, the extra hands and it's practical to get as much use out of our gear as possible, right? Not having to carry anything while pushing a stroller is not only safer but makes the stroll more enjoyable with our little ones.
