Hip Peas Hair Balm For Kids

Did you watch Blow Out? The reality show with Jonathan Antin that used to be on Bravo? Well, of course I did and ended up buying the product he was pushing the most called Dirt. It was a hair balm that gunked up your hair so you could style it better and was the first time I had used a balm like that. My son used to love using it and since I just had my one little one, I didn't mind sharing. Now with 4 little heads of hair... they need their own gunk and one that smells like it's made for kids. No more Dirt!

So, we've discovered Hip Peas. This delicious (smelling not tasting) natural KIDS hair balm is free of parabens, petrochemicals, phthalates, and sulfates . I feel a lot better giving them a made-for-kids product that's safe for them and the environment. Plus my son and my girls can use it.

Hot Tot - Haircare for babies and kids

With three little girls, hair is a pretty important thing at our house. While my son can get away with wearing the same outfit for a week, my little girls don't get to leave the house with out freshly styled hair. Double standard? Totally. But the poor boy is surrounded by females so I like to cut him a little slack.

Megan Gage, founder of Hot Tot sent me a few samples to try out from her babies and kids hair care line. The products are all free from any harmful ingredient and suitable for kids with sensitive skin. I've got a few of those at my house so sensitive is important.

Win This! Original CLIPPIEHOLDER - Desktop - Natural

With 3 girls, I've always thought you can never have to many hair clippies. Well it turns out, if you don't have a good place to store them, you can. I find myself spending anywhere from $1 to $16 dollars for hair clips and so I go bananas when I find them littering the floors.

So I big time heart creations like ClippieHolders from Everyday Clippies. Made from CARB certified wood harvested from sustainable forests, these beautifully crafted hair clip holders (table top or hanging version) are a fantastic solution to display all you child's hair clips and keep them organized. Either version can be easily positioned to keep them in our out of reach of the kids.

TruKid Healthy Skincare For Kids - Giveaway! Enter By 2/24/11

I get such a kick out of how being au natural has evolved and progressed since the 60's. Back in the hippie days, this may have just meant that you didn't shower or use deodorant. Nowadays, some of the most amazingly fresh and clean products are the natural ones. Oh, how we have evolved!

Picture Above: Silly Shampoo ($8.99); Bubbly Body Wash ($8.99); Cool Conditioner ($8.99).

The last time I set out hair clip hunting for my two girls, I ended up at the grocery store just buying no-grip pigtails. That means I gave up. With two girls who lose or ruin more things than I can count, spending $6 - $15 per clip just isn't an option...at least when trying to buy in bulk!
