Chic Security: Ila Dusk & Pebble Alarms {Win It!}
Tagged in: safety, review, giveaway | Comments
I have always been a little on the skittish side when it comes to looking out for creepy crawlies. Well, actually flat out paranoid. But I'm not talking about bugs. I'm talking about the creeps that jump out of the shadows and throw you into their van. Sorry, that's the mother in me being overly dramatic.
In my early 20's I was accosted in an empty parking lot at 6:30 in the morning. I had just hit the unlock button on my car key when I noticed a man had followed me out of the store and was headed straight for me. I was very lucky and was able to push him away and hit the panic button on my key.

Safety & Style: Kids Bath Faucet Covers

There are a few pretty snazzy protective covers around that can not only add head bumping protection but also dress up your tub a little. Safety, style and functionality!

Merino Kids Baby Sleep Bag {Win It!}
Tagged in: safety, review, giveaway, bed time | CommentsNot to sound like a snuggie® commercial, but wearable blankets are pretty cool! Especially when they are convenient and are a safer option for our precious sleeping babies. Not having to check on baby to see if they have kicked off their blanket is a very cool perk too.
The Merino Kids Baby Sleep Bag is worn over sleepwear and takes the place of a blanket which could potentially cover baby's face. Merino wool breaths and controls humidity which keeps baby warm with out over heating. The Merino Kids Baby Sleep Bag is very high quality baby sleep sack. It's interior boasts 100% natural merino wool and has a 100% cotton outer layer so it is strong and sturdy but still retains a soft and comfortable feeling.

Mommy's Got Night Vision {Win It!}
Tagged in: safety, review, giveaway, gadgets | CommentsA baby monitor is one of the most important, if not the most important, tech tool you'll get when you have a baby. You'll want to keep tabs on your babies crying, movement and even breathing when you're away from them. What better way than with a portable color video monitor that's about the size of a cell phone.
The Summer Infants Slim & Secure Handheld Color Video Monitor is a fantastic baby monitor and we're so excited that Summer Infant is offering up one for a lucky reader. This video baby monitor lets you move around the house (yard too) and still keep a watchful eye and attentive ear on your baby. The monitor has a 10 hour battery, 350 foot range and whopping total of 6 buttons so there isn't anything complicated you have to do to get going. Plug it in, turn it on and enjoy the movie. In addition to video, there is sound as well as an audio light bar that fills up depending on how loud the sounds are (similar to many audio only monitors). The sound and video quality are great and the monitor range is amazing. I've walked to the bus stop and back (about 4 houses away) and still picked up a signal.
