Log Into Your TopBabyBlogs.Com AccountImportant News!! This site is moving. We have gotten pretty busy and so we need to make a new home for TopBabyBlogs.Com (currently part of PoshLittle.Com). Over the next week or so, we will be moving and there may be outages and any changes you make after 9/18 may not be reflected after the move so we suggest you give us a few days to get settled. In the mean time, feel free to check out our brand new (till being built/tested blog directory) TopMommyBlogs.Com. It will be very similar to this site but larger and with more options and pages! Enter your username and password to edit your account, view your stats, or get links and banners to use. Forgot your password?Frequently Asked QuestionsI just signed up for the site, why doesn't my site appear? As stated on the sign up page, the list updates every 60 minutes and at that time will introduce any new sites into the list that have received the minimum number of votes (unique clicks on your voting link). This means at least 2 different visitors will need to have clicked on your banner before your site is visible. This is to improve the traffic exchange for productive sites and to help minimize cheating. So, you will want to place your voting banner in a good spot on your blog as quickly as possible to start getting votes/hits in. Also, this site is just for blogs. So if you signed up a site that isn't a blog or we feel is an inappropriate blog for "Top Baby Blogs," chances are that we have already removed or suspended your account. But if you have a baby, mommy or family blog, it's probably just a matter of a few hours before you site shows up. My blog was listed and now it is gone!Don't panic and please DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT!!!! The list resets all members stats back to zero a few times a year to purge inactive blogs and give new blogs a shot on the first page. So, yours and all the other sites start over and will appear on the list again once you get the minimum number of required hits again. "But my blog was doing so good. I don't want to have to start over!!" We understand and know your blog will do even better with these anti-cheating and cleansing standards. If your blog was doing well before, it will continue to do well! Resetting the list really is a good thing for everyone. Not only does it purge non-participating blogs (like blogs that have removed the voting code or are dead) it encourages new members to join. In order for the list to grow and in turn, your blog get more traffic returned, new members being able to have a shot at the home page is crucial. If the #1 spot has 3,000 hits in, new members will know that they will never get beyond page 10 and will not join. Also, since dead or non-participating blogs are removed, only active and vote earning sites will get rewarded with visitors. Sites like this that don't reset or they let anyone be on the list (with out a single vote) are not going to be beneficial to you. If there doesn't have appeared to be a reset recently, please review the rules on the sign up page to make sure your site wasn't breaking any of the rules and got suspended! If your site isn't a blog or is flat out inappropriate, it is removed with out notice. You will want to also make sure that you have added a correct reciprocal link in your account information. The reciprocal link is a page, on your blog, where we can check that you have your voting banner in place. You must display the linking banner on your blog to qualify and we ask that you provide one example page/link for us to view it on easily, which is why you are asked where our banner is. If we can't find it, your account may be suspended for cheating. I am having problems adding my banner! If you are having problems with your banner, there are a few reasons why. It's important to note that if you are having problems with your banner, creation of or changes to these images needs to be done by you or your graphic designer. If you need a web or graphic designer for help and don't have one, here is a list of some popular web designers. Please do not submit graphics to us to "fix" or "alter" to fit. There are a few reasons why your banner may not be accepted. Here are a few of the error message you may receive:
What is a banner link?A banner link or URL is the link to your banner where you have it served online (the system pulls your banner from online and does not upload it from your computer). If you can see your image (like you have it on your blog somewhere), you can right click on it and view it's properties to get the address/URL/link. If it's not online, you will need to upload it. If you are unable to upload images to your blog you can try a free image host link tinypic.com (Google "free image hosting" for more). Why can't I add my heading image from my blog?Because the MAX size image allowed (and one of the rules) for the banner position is 125 X 125 px. Blog heading graphics are often 800 x 96 px or larger and not at all appropriate for this kind of program (with 25+ member listings per page)! 125 X 125 px is the Standard Square banner and is widely accepted across the net. If you do not have a 125 x 125 banner, here is a list of some popular web designers (most charge around $15 for a banner). Adding a banner is optional.
