Ubbi: A Sleek, Stylish & Modern Diaper Pail
Tagged in: nursery, modern, gear | Comments
Finally a modern diaper pail that will actually look good in your nursery! The Ubbi Diaper Pail not only has a sleek design and a wide variety of colors, it's made of steel so it won't absorb any smells like plastic pails can.
And if buying special liners is not something you are looking forward to, the Ubbi can use normal kitchen garbage bags or a reusable cloth liner. That can be a big $$ saver plus it's just easier to re-use or be able to use what you already have.

What's The Difference Between Telling And Tattling?
Tagged in: parenting | Comments
My first grader came home yesterday with a little printout sent home from the school. It was a chart about the difference between telling on someone and tattling on someone. I'm assuming it went out to everyone and wasn't specifically for my daughter because she's more of the peace-maker vs. the tattle tale. I thought this was a fantastic note to include the parents on because I often don't know the difference and find myself saying, "no one likes a tattle tale." It's nice to have something more constructive.
Here's a simple chart showing the difference between Telling & Tattling:

Flower Power! My Favorite Baby Bath
Tagged in: review, it's rad, gifts for new moms, bath time | Comments
I am obsessed with this baby bath. It's not a tub but makes bathing infants in the sink cozy and so easy. How do I describe this? It's like putting a pillow in the sink! It's very worthy of the Posh Little It's Rad Award.
I'm on baby #4 now so bath time is not what it used to be. It's rarely part of our bedtime routine and generally just something that happens after I finish filling the dishwasher and happen to have an empty sink.

The iPad 3 is here! What's Yours Wearing? {iPad & iPad 2's welcome}
Tagged in: roundup, modern, iPad, gadgets, accessories | Comments
In honor of the release of the iPad 3, we've rounded up some unique & hip iPad covers* and cases fit for kids & stylish moms. What sets these cool cases apart from the rest is that not only will the covers help protect iPads from our maple syrup covered kids, they will make even the 1st & 2nd generation iPads the coolest kid on the block.
*Since the iPad 3 is so new, many of these cases were made for 1st or 2nd generation iPads but were cool enough to make the list. Me, I'm perfectly happy with my iPad 2 but since now it isn't the latest or greatest thing, it's time to beef up its style factor to compensate ;-)

Oh No It Didn't: Oh Yeah, This Bottle Warms Itself
Tagged in: review, gear, feeding, bottles | CommentsI've never had a bottle warmer or any sort of on-the-go system to warm up bottles. Since I have mainly nursed, I've made due with out one. A cool nursing cover was all I needed!
My latest baby, however, has made things a little harder since she refuses to breastfeed if there's anything going on around her. She fights her way out from under the nursing cover and cries reminding me that no one puts baby under the nursing cover. Nursing isn't usually an option in public unless I leave the room or go sit in the car.

Nursing Necessities: Posh Little Picks For Breastfeeding
Tagged in: giveaway, etsy, breastfeeding and nursing | Comments
One of the glories of breastfeeding your baby is that you don''t really need anything to do it. Any prep or procedures are entirely your own and at the drop of a hat, you can feed your baby. But if your a mom like me, you fuss, accessorize and have to tack on just a few things to the process.
1) I had a handful of nursing covers. They were all strategically placed so I was prepared when we were out and about or had company over. I had one in my diaper bag, one in my car, one in the living room and even one in my back up diaper bag (who has just one diaper bag?). One of my favs was the Bebe Au Lait nursing cover ($33.90 @ Amazon). It''s a stylish cover and has a stiff rounded neckline so you can see your baby while they nurse.
